June 2000, Darrel began a new projekt, Krusafix.

His aim was to create a band with a sound that assimilated the best elements of Progressive Industrial, EBM, Dark Tekno, Cyber Gothik, Hardbeat, Epik Trance, Elektro, Cyber Metal, Industrial Drum & Bass, Rave, Dark Wave, Neo Klassical, Avant Garde music genres and create a unique komplex fusion, the Krusafix system of sonic genesis.

June 5th 2000 Krusafix was formed by Darrel W. Hughes.

Darrel has studied several forms of hard Southern Chinese martial arts since the age of 11, those being, Praying Mantis, Wing Chun, also Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, as well as Aikido (Japanese), Boxing, Kenpo. In total Darrel has studied over 35 arts. Fencing and weapons training including, Escrima, Bo Staff, Nunchakus, to name just a few.

With Bruce Lee as an inspiration of all that is functionally kinetik, the natural harmony and flow via all things as a seamless fusion of feelings, thoughts and kinetiks.

Darrel wanted to take all of the most functional techniques from the genres of music he felt were the most dynamic, to create a hyper focus and fusion of dynamics that would create a unique hyper komplex mutation of sound based on dynamics of functionality to evolve this into a pure sonik innovative cutting edge hyper hybrid of sound, the Krusafix system of sonik genesis.

Like Bruce Lee created Jeet Kune Do, a formless yet focused non style, yet highly developed and evolved via the best of the best techniques through functionality of form and application of the Ying and Yang koncept to attain the ultimate klarity of harmony.

Darrel's chosen path is that of an unorthodox dynamic sonik expression via the unconventional approach of form vs functionality within martial arts at its highest level becomes formless.

Due to this, Darrel has invented his own unique sound or non-style, via his hyper kinetik synthesis koncept to attain his unique innovative sonic formulation.

Or basically, his aim was to create a band with a sound that assimilated the best elements of Progressive Industrial, EBM, Dark Tekno, Cyber Gothik, Hardbeat, Epik Trance, Elektro, Cyber Metal, Industrial Drum & Bass, Rave, Dark Wave, Neo Klassical, Avant Garde music genres and create a unique Darrel decided he wanted full artistic kontrol and to co-ordinated his own international promotion with the help of a few staff via his own record label Neurogenik Transmissions.
